After - 140 lbs (May 2013)

I really needed to see this today. Here is my before and after — although I really should say during, because my journey isn’t complete. This is five months of hard work. I messed up a lot, I ate too much and too little, I gave up for weeks at a time, but I DID NOT STOP and I am SO THANKFUL for that. This has been a huge learning process for me … learning what kinds of food are good for me, what kinds of exercises my body responds to, and learning most importantly that it’s okay to make mistakes. The fitblr community has been so amazingly kind & inspiring. Deciding to become a part of this has definitely been one of my best decisions. I have 15lbs to go until I reach my UGW, but for now I am focusing on listening to my body and making the healthiest choices possible. I know I’ll screw up between now and then, probably more times than I’d like to admit, but if I’ve learned anything in the process of weight loss it’s patience. Your body WILL change, just give it fuel, exercise, and a little time. :)
